Negative thinking can easily and quickly foul up your game. We all know that our brains keep sending instructions to our body automatically. And since you use your entire body to play golf, from your fingers, wrist, arms, shoulders, hips, legs, and feet; you need to make sure that your brain is sending the correct messages during the game. Visualization techniques are also helpful in instructing our body on what kind of shots we want.
We also know that negative thinking and negative emotions will prevent our body from being relaxed which will impair the rhythm of our golf game. So if the game is not yet finish, if you just made a bad shot, keep your self-talk or thoughts positive.
So maybe, instead of looking for new, revolutionary, and more advanced techniques in improving your golf swing; the answer to fixing your golf swing may already be learned just by re-learning the basics.
